A MEMORABLE MISSIONARY EXPERIENCE AT ST. LUKE’S, WUSASA, ZARIA Last weekend, I, Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba, had a memorable experience at St. Luke’s, Wusasa, Zaria, during the Miracle Invasion Crusade, hosted with the support of the Anglican Church. It was a powerful time of ministry, evangelism, and spiritual impact. Souls were saved, lives were transformed, and the gospel reached young people, women, and members of the surrounding communities. I express my profound gratitude to Bishop Titus Alkali, the Anglican Bishop of Wusasa Diocese, and Venerable Isuwa Garba for their support. My special appreciation goes to Reverend Clement Dowh, who, after several years of anticipation, became an instrument in connecting me with these great men of God. Beyond the crusade, visiting Wusasa’s historic missionary sites was deeply moving. I saw the century-old Anglican Church, the former missionary residences, historic mud buildings, St. Bartholomew’s School, theological institutions, and the School of Nursing. These places tell the story of missionaries who sacrificed their lives to bring Christianity, education, and healthcare to our people. Some died from malaria, snakebites, and other illnesses. I was particularly touched by the grave of one of the doctors, a medical missionary who reportedly died at the age of 35. What challenged me most was witnessing Bishop Titus Alkali’s commitment to reaching rural communities, ministering to villagers, women, and young people in remote areas. His dedication reminded me that ministry is not merely about preaching from the pulpit but about going out, making sacrifices, and touching lives. Sadly, many Christians today seem more concerned about what they will gain from serving God than what they can sacrifice for the gospel. The missionaries who came before us paid a tremendous price. We must therefore rise above comfort and convenience to reach the unreached and serve humanity. As a minister and eyewitness to this experience, I have been deeply challenged. I return with a renewed determination to do more for the kingdom of God. We have not done enough. We must do more for the sake of the gospel! — Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba

What a huge sacrifices made by these missionaries. It’s mind blowing . It is high time we stepped out from our comfort zone to truly avail ourselves to the work of God. His grace is sufficient for us
