I’m asking if you truly have people in your life beyond casual acquaintances—whether coworkers, church members, or prayer partners. Friendships are relationships built on shared activities and mutual trust. Unfortunately, some people shy away from friendships, claiming they cannot trust anyone. This attitude often stems from their own lack of friendliness and inability to build trust. The Bible teaches that love “believes all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7), which should guide us in forming and keeping friendships. A friend is someone you know well, hold in high regard, and trust. There’s wisdom in the saying, “Show me your friends, and I’ll tell you who you are.” Even Jesus had relationships with His disciples, eventually calling them His friends (John 15:15). Scripture does not discourage friendship but warns against ungodly associations. If you lack friends, it may indicate you’re not showing yourself friendly, as Proverbs 18:24 suggests. Many people struggle to maintain friendships due to quarrels, fights, or bad manners that push others away. Remember, a king is honored by his people, and your circle of friends reflects your influence and values. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.” Do you value the friends you have? Don’t push them away—it reduces your influence and weakens your support system. If you find fault with everyone, it may be time to self-reflect. The inability to maintain long-term friendships often indicates a lack of friendliness. Learn to trust and regard people. Walk with them in mutual understanding. Avoid jealousy, suspicion, and envy, which only isolate you further. A free and loving heart attracts love in return. Embrace the beauty of friendship—it is God’s design for life.

God does not always answer every prayer. He examines the motives behind our requests. Self-centered prayers often have limitations because God does not intend for us to focus solely on ourselves and our families. The Bible reminds us that neglecting God’s word or forsaking His law makes our prayers an abomination (Proverbs 28:9). Many prayers go unanswered because people disregard the importance of listening to God’s Word. Some attend church or crusades with the sole purpose of receiving miracles, intentionally arriving late to skip the time of worship and teaching. This behavior reveals misplaced priorities—valuing blessings over the Word of God. When God sees that you care more about your personal needs than reverence for His Word, your prayers may be hindered. Remember, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). In my experience, those who eagerly and joyfully come early to the house of God or attend crusades are more likely to receive miracles. Their eagerness reflects faith and honor for God. Some who arrive an hour before a crusade begins often receive breakthroughs because their hearts are in the right posture to hear, believe, and act on God’s Word. To experience effective prayers and a deeper connection with God, prioritize attending church and crusades on time. Value the Word of God as your foundation before presenting your petitions. Approach God with the right motives, honor His Word, and your prayers will be powerful and effective.

Forgiveness and Reconciliation: A Call to Sacrificial Love By Rev Ernest Odogba Bible Reference: Matthew 5:23-24 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.” Forgiveness is not just about having peace in your own heart toward someone; it is also about ensuring that the other person does not hold any offense against you. If you realize that someone is hurt by something you said or did, it is your responsibility to reach out and settle the matter. This act of reconciliation is necessary for your prayers to be effective and for your relationship with God to remain strong. Thinking, “He is the one who hurt me; he should apologize first,” or, “I did nothing wrong, so I don’t need to take any action,” reflects ignorance of Scripture. The one who becomes aware of the offense, regardless of who is at fault, should take the first step toward peace. Delaying reconciliation not only hinders your spiritual growth but also strains your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Never involve others to fight on your behalf or to take sides in your conflict. Instigating others—intentionally or unintentionally—extends the issue and fosters division. Even if others take offense or act on what you shared, the responsibility lies with you for stirring the situation. For the sake of peace, do not let others’ disputes influence your own relationships. Keep your heart free of all bitterness or offenses, as living in peace with others is the highest calling. Forgiveness is not just about your own freedom—it is also about ensuring the other person has a free and peaceful heart toward you. Walk in love, and strive to avoid causing offense to anyone. Sacrificial love, which reflects God’s heart, means taking responsibility and even accepting blame for the sake of peace. As Scripture teaches, “Do all things without grumbling or disputing” (Philippians 2:14), and let love guide all your actions.

He gave the first twenty people who crossed the toll gate at the count of five the opportunity for healing. People were amazed when all those who crossed the gate were instantly healed. These dreams and miscarriages result in severe body pains, headaches, high blood pressure, and other illnesses. She had sought treatment at various hospitals but was not healed. She had also visited many places for deliverance but was not set free until she was invited to Covenant Life Church for prayers. As soon as the man of God, Rev. The man of God pronounced her free from repeated miscarriages, bad dreams, and any form of sickness. She was very happy, dancing and praising God for her freedom. Lung Problem and High Uric Acid Healed Pastor Tina David came to the church for a weekly Thursday service. She said she had felt sharp pains in her ankle joints and her sides down to her pelvic joints. She consulted a physician who advised her to undergo tests. The results showed that her uric acid levels were very high. She was prescribed medication, which she began taking immediately. He had initially gone to the hospital when he started feeling sharp pains in his sides, and was diagnosed with kidney stones. He was advised to drink plenty of water, which only suppressed the pain but did not eliminate the stones. Despite trying various methods, he couldn't get rid of the kidney stones, so he decided to come to the church. The man of God, Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba, prayed for him. He fell under the anointing twice, and when he stood up, he no longer felt any pain, and all the symptoms of the kidney stones had left him. He was surprised by falling down because he did not believe that the Holy Spirit could cause someone to fall without being pushed. He went back for a test, and the kidney stones had disappeared. Lumbar Spondylosis and Difficulty in Walking Healed A man attended a Sunday morning service at the church. He had lumbar spondylosis, which made it difficult for him to walk. He registered on the prayer line for healing. When it was his turn, the man of God, Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba, told him that God instructed him not to pray but to ask the man to touch his nose for healing. The man stretched out his hand and touched the man of God's nose three times. Rev. Dislocated Bones Fixed and Rheumatism Healed A woman came to the church with a broken and dislocated left ankle due to an accident and suffered from rheumatism pains in her right leg. She was overjoyed, knowing her child would no longer suffer from crises or require frequent hospital visits, and she thanked and praised God for the miracle. Miscarriages and Profuse Bleeding Stopped Sister Joy Ochigbo came to the church years ago with problems of repeated miscarriages and profuse bleeding. The bleeding made her uncomfortable, and the miscarriages prevented her from having children. Edison met this young man, Henry Ford, at a company party in New York and was thoroughly impressed by his gasoline-powered car idea. Edison, who had been considering electricity as a power source, enthusiastically encouraged Ford, saying, "Young man, that's the thing! You have it! I think you are on to something! I encourage you to continue your pursuits!" Encouraged by the respected inventor, Henry Ford continued his work, eventually inventing a car that made him wealthy. On December 9, 1914, Edison's laboratory and factory were destroyed by fire. At 67 years old, the damage was too extensive for insurance to cover. Before the ashes were cold, Henry Ford handed Edison a check for $750,000 with a note saying Edison could have more if needed. In 1916, Ford relocated his home next to Edison's. When Edison was later confined to a wheelchair, Ford also got a wheelchair so they could race each other. Thomas Edison made Henry Ford believe in himself, creating a friendship for life. I’ve witnessed many miracles in my meetings, but this time, a well-known person with a hunched back was miraculously healed, drawing a lot of attention. While people also saw breast lumps disappear, growths vanish, the blind regain sight, the deaf hear, and those with difficulty walking healed, the focus remained on the disappearance of the hunched back. Over 150 sick people from the area attended our Faith Clinic on Wednesday seeking healing. People speculated something unusual was happening at the church when they saw attendees arriving as early as 6 a.m. MIRACLE GALORE HUNCHBACK HEALED The most striking miracle was a teenage girl with a hunched back. Born with this condition, she had endured pain every day of her life. She arrived at the crusade in Romi, Kaduna, with great faith, believing that God would change her story. Known in her community for her deformity, she was often ridiculed. To everyone’s amazement, after Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed, she fell under the anointing. Held at an open field opposite Saint Anthony Catholic Church, Sule Romi, Kaduna, the crusade began at 5 p.m. each day. Thousands attended, including bishops, reverends, evangelists, pastors, traditional chiefs, businessmen and women, traders, and more. On the first day, Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba delivered a powerful message that led many to surrender their lives to Christ. He introduced “Bonanza Healing” using a toll gate method, where those who passed through the gate were healed. Many in the prayer line were also healed. He concluded with a general prayer, resulting in numerous healings, deliverances, and blessings. On the second day, attendance and the number of people on the prayer line doubled.
