MINISTERS’ FELLOWSHIP LEAGUE AND BACKGROUND OF ERNEST ODOGBA

MINISTERS’ FELLOWSHIP LEAGUE The vision of Ernest Odogba, as encapsulated in the Ministers Fellowship League, is to: To Teach and Pray for Revival The primary purpose of this fellowship is to encourage believers to pray for revival and spiritual awakening in their nations and churches. Prayer is the foundation for any true and lasting revival, as it invites the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in people's hearts and communities. To Stir Believers for Revival and Church Growth The aims is to stir up believers to actively participate in the process of revival and church growth. It emphasizes the importance of each individual's role in seeking God, repenting of sin, and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in their lives. As believers are revived and transformed, the church as a whole will experience growth, both numerically and spiritually. To Encourage Ministry to Desire Spiritual Gifts. The purpose is to encourage ministers and leaders in the church to desire and pursue the manifestation of spiritual gifts. These gifts, when used in love and according to God's will, can powerfully display the glory of God and draw people to Him. Ministers should seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to operate in the gifts He provides for the edification of the body of Christ. Support and Fellowship: Create a robust network of ministers and church leaders who can support each other through spiritual, emotional, and professional fellowship. Regular meetings and events will provide a nurturing environment for church growth and mutual encouragement. Training and Development: Establish comprehensive educational programs including workshops, seminars, and conferences aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of ministers. This will empower them to lead their congregations effectively and with confidence. Accountability and Ethics: Promote a culture of ethical behavior and accountability among ministers. By setting high standards of integrity and professionalism, the League will ensure that its members are exemplary leaders in their communities. Resource Sharing: Develop a centralized repository of resources such as sermon materials, church growth strategies, and pastoral care techniques. This will facilitate the sharing of valuable insights and tools that can enhance the ministries of all members. Advocacy and Representation: Serve as a voice for ministers and their congregations in broader church and societal discussions. The League will advocate for the needs and perspectives of its members, ensuring they are heard and addressed. Community Engagement and Evangelism: Encourage and support ministers in their efforts to engage with and serve their local communities. Through outreach and service initiatives, the League will foster a spirit of compassion and social responsibility.
