CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT

CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Matt. 15:19.

“An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations”thoughts of iniquity. I think all mankind has evil thoughts. The Lord Jesus said, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies”. It is an ugly brood that comes out of the human heart. By the way, have you ever confessed to God what you have in your mind and in your heart? We all need to do that. We need to be cleansed.
God is dealing with the anatomy of evil and iniquity. It includes the eyes, the tongues, the hands, the heart Isaiah says: “Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths” May I ask you to take a good look at yourself in this mirror of the Word of God. After you and I see ourselves as we really are, let us go to God and make a confession of these things. Let us be honest with Him and ask Him for His cleansing. You are created with power to control your thought.

CHOOSE WHAT HAVE ETERNAL VALUE

CHOOSE WHAT HAVE ETERNAL VALUE

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. Proverbs 23:7

Your choice determine who you are. When people are faced with challenges, they like to take short cuts to the problem. These short cuts have their own consequences at the long run. So don't jump into choosing short cut to problems of life. Know that God has his way of doing things. Many people fall victim to 419 because of greed to get money. In determining what has eternal value, see what bring glory to God, affects others people lives and has sacrifice to make along. Consider the choice you make in life. Your choice affects others people around you, so be careful. The problem you are facing was as a result you make yesterday through the power of choice. One problem leads from one to another. What has external value offer peace and tranquility, but may not be beautiful or attractively. Everything that looks attractive, inviting, beautiful has so much implication. This may ensnare your life. Your choice is the product of your thought and your thought is influenced by what you see, hear and what happens around you.

VICTORY OVER CRITICISM

VICTORY OVER CRITICISM

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 1Peter 4:14

Everyone has at one time or the other been criticized. Most criticisms are out of jealousy. The more successful you are the more you will be criticized. Not every body will celebrate your victory. You should not take those criticisms personally. One thing you should do is to celebrate when others are celebrating their success. If you do not celebrate others you will not be blessed. If you are envious when others are blessed you will not receive your own blessing. The self righteous people always feel they are the best, they look down on others, they feel they can do it better than others. They are exhibiting pride. Jesus said they should remove the moth in their eyes before they remove the one in their brother's eyes. They forget to know Jesus loves the weak, dirty and sinners, infact, He came for them not for the righteous. Love people and take them for who they are, not minding their weaknesses and failures. God is able to raise them up.
