The Illusion of Busyness and the Reality of Idleness

In our modern lives, it often feels like we're constantly busy. However, much of this busyness is an illusion, masking a deeper idleness. True productivity is not about filling our days with activities, but about engaging in tasks that align with our life's purpose.

'A Call to Die Empty and Fulfill Your Purpose
I am determined to die empty, to poured out everything God has deposited within me for this generation. I realize that I have not yet exhausted even 10% of what l am capable of delivering. The burden to be a blessing and a deliverer to the world weighs heavily on my heart, and I am still brimming with potential and purpose.
I need open doors and opportunities to share the wealth of knowledge, skills, and spiritual gifts that I possess. My focus is not on what I have already achieved but on what lies ahead in fulfilling God's kingdom purposes. There is so much more to give, to do, and to accomplish for the glory of God.
My prayer is for divine connections, favor, and the right platforms to effectively reach and impact lives. I seek God's guidance and strength to maximize every opportunity and to stay committed to the vision He has placed in my heart.

LESSON FROM THOMAS EDISON
In 1896, Thomas Edison, the great inventor of the electric bulb, was working on a car design when he learned that a young man in his company had created an experimental car. Edison met this young man, Henry Ford, at a company party in New York and was thoroughly impressed by his gasoline-powered car idea. Edison, who had been considering electricity as a power source, enthusiastically encouraged Ford, saying, "Young man, that's the thing! You have it! I think you are on to something! I encourage you to continue your pursuits!"
Encouraged by the respected inventor, Henry Ford continued his work, eventually inventing a car that made him wealthy.
On December 9, 1914, Edison's laboratory and factory were destroyed by fire. At 67 years old, the damage was too extensive for insurance to cover. Before the ashes were cold, Henry Ford handed Edison a check for $750,000 with a note saying Edison could have more if needed.
In 1916, Ford relocated his home next to Edison's. When Edison was later confined to a wheelchair, Ford also got a wheelchair so they could race each other.
Thomas Edison made Henry Ford believe in himself, creating a friendship for life.
LESSON:
Don't ever be jealous of others' success. If you can't win a race, help the person in front of you break the record. Your candle doesn't lose its light by lighting another. Let us follow this example of supporting and uplifting each other!

Life is full of challenges. The devil attacks people, and our lack of knowledge often leads to mistakes, sicknesses, and problems. In all of this, it’s evident that life isn’t fair to everyone. What should we do? God knows everything about our lives and knows how to fix us. He has a better plan for us, and all He wants is for us to serve Him. Our problems and attacks should draw us closer to God. If you give more time to yourself without dedicating your life to God, you’ve wasted your life. A life without service to God is a distraction. If you fail to attend church regularly but always prioritize your business or football games, it means God is not your preferred priority—you are not worshipping God. Seek God first and follow Him; that is the key to unlocking healing and success in life.
We often wonder how Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba can touch or tap someone, and years of deafness, blindness, cancer, difficulty in walking, or the spirit of drunkenness are instantly healed. We later discovered that he is mighty in the Word and prayer. The recently concluded Buwaya and Karatudu crusade in Kaduna was eye-opening for many who hadn’t seen him in action, healing people by simply touching them. During the crusade, he shared that as a young boy, he saw a vision of Jesus in his village, commissioning him to preach, heal, deliver the oppressed, set captives free, and heal the sick.
In the recent Buwaya/Karatudu crusade, when people witnessed the healing grace, they surrounded him, pulling at his legs and clothes, begging for healing. Out of great compassion, he prayed for hundreds of sick people. He performed his usual miracle Bonanza, where the first 15 people to run through the gate at the count of five received their healing. To everyone’s amazement, more than twenty people ran through the gate and were healed. A lady was healed of deafness in one ear that had lasted over ten years; another had a breast lump disappear, and others with poor eyesight shouted, “I can see, I can see!” People with arthritis and leg problems were also healed. It was indeed a Bonanza. God is faithful. The man of God told us that anything used as a point of contact, if believed, would produce miracles.

MULTIPLE FIBROID HEALED
A woman with multiple fibroids for many years attended the Ugwan Romi crusade seeking healing. She had been to several hospitals without success and was scheduled for surgery before hearing about the crusade. She registered on the healing line and was prayed for by Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba. She fell under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and was healed. She no longer felt the fibroids’ hardness in her stomach. A follow-up scan at the hospital showed no trace of fibroids. She came to the Buwaya crusade from Romi to testify of God’s healing, joyfully praising God.
KIDNEY INFECTION AND HEART FAILURE HEALED
A lady named Comfort Ibrahim came to the crusade with chronic kidney infection and heart failure lasting over four years. Despite multiple hospital visits, she was not healed and exhibited severe symptoms, including difficulty breathing. Her worried parents, who had almost lost hope, brought her to the Buwaya Karatudu crusade. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for her, and she was healed instantly. She could breathe and talk well, and all symptoms disappeared. Her parents and sisters joined her in praising God for this miraculous healing. Her father, who had difficulty walking for 30 years, was also healed, leading to a double celebration.
DIFFICULTY IN WALKING HEALED
Ibrahim Dogo, a man from the outskirts of Kaduna, couldn’t walk without aid for 30 years. His family brought him to the crusade. As soon as Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for him, he stood up and started walking without assistance. ERNEST ODOGBA CRUSADE IN ROMI: A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
We just concluded a crusade like no other. I’ve witnessed many miracles in my meetings, but this time, a well-known person with a hunched back was miraculously healed, drawing a lot of attention. While people also saw breast lumps disappear, growths vanish, the blind regain sight, the deaf hear, and those with difficulty walking healed, the focus remained on the disappearance of the hunched back. Over 150 sick people from the area attended our Faith Clinic on Wednesday seeking healing. People speculated something unusual was happening at the church when they saw attendees arriving as early as 6 a.m.
MIRACLE GALORE
HUNCHBACK HEALED
The most striking miracle was a teenage girl with a hunched back. Born with this condition, she had endured pain every day of her life. She arrived at the crusade in Romi, Kaduna, with great faith, believing that God would change her story. Known in her community for her deformity, she was often ridiculed. To everyone’s amazement, after Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed, she fell under the anointing. When she stood up, her hunched back had vanished. Overwhelmed with joy, she jumped, shouted, and praised God. Her mother, friends, and neighbors joined her celebration. This miracle captivated everyone, including the bishops, reverends, pastors, evangelists, and crusade workers, who joined in celebrating God’s loving kindness.
This miracle inspired many to ask for the address of Covenant Life Church, Angwan Sunday, Sabo Kaduna, promising to attend the usual Wednesday Faith Clinic for their own healings and blessings from Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba.
KIDNEY PROBLEM HEALED
A lady with kidney issues arrived at the crusade ground. She had been to many hospitals without a solution and had lost hope. To her surprise, after Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for her, all symptoms disappeared. She and her family, present at the crusade, wept for joy, thanking God for sparing her further medical expenses.
PARALYSIS HEALED
A teenage girl who could not walk was brought by her brother. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba introduced a “Bonanza Healing” method, encouraging sick people to run through a gate to receive healing. The girl’s brother carried her and ran through the gate. After the man of God prayed, the girl was miraculously healed and began walking on her own. Both her brother and others who witnessed this praised God for the miracle.
BREAST LUMPS HEALED
A woman with long-standing breast lumps attended the crusade. After Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for her, she touched her breast and found the lumps and pain were gone. She joyfully testified of her healing, with many rejoicing with her.
ARTHRITIS HEALED
A man suffering from arthritis for many years, enduring severe pain and sleepless nights, joined the prayer line. After Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed, he threw away his crutches and walked unassisted. He was filled with joy and praised God for his healing.
BLINDNESS HEALED
A man blind for many years was brought by his wife. After Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba touched his eyes and prayed, the man shouted that he could see. He recognized his wife and others at the crusade, and those who knew him celebrated and praised God with him. He later testified of his healing.
LEGS AND BACK PAINS HEALED
An elderly woman over fifty, suffering from leg and back pain for years, received healing after Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for her. Instantly, she could walk straight and was seen running around, showing her healing to others. Her recovery prompted a great celebration at the crusade ground. She testified to God’s glory in her life.
GENERAL DELIVERANCE
Deliverance was a powerful part of the crusade. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed and cast out demons and evil spirits. The power of God moved mightily, causing many people to fall under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Demons manifested, speaking out through those afflicted. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba patiently and anointedly prayed for all who were delivered, glorifying God for His blessings and power throughout the three-day crusade.
ROMI MIRACLE CRUSADE (REVIEW)
The Romi Miracle Crusade, organized and led by Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba in collaboration with other pastors, started on Friday, January 26th, and ended on Sunday, January 27th, 2024. Held at an open field opposite Saint Anthony Catholic Church, Sule Romi, Kaduna, the crusade began at 5 p.m. each day.
Thousands attended, including bishops, reverends, evangelists, pastors, traditional chiefs, businessmen and women, traders, and more. On the first day, Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba delivered a powerful message that led many to surrender their lives to Christ. He introduced “Bonanza Healing” using a toll gate method, where those who passed through the gate were healed. Many in the prayer line were also healed. He concluded with a general prayer, resulting in numerous healings, deliverances, and blessings.
On the second day, attendance and the number of people on the prayer line doubled. After another powerful sermon, many were healed and delivered. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba instructed attendees to use sand from the crusade ground, pray over it, and apply it to afflicted areas. Those who believed and obeyed were healed instantly. He concluded with a general prayer, and many testified of their healings.
On the final day, the prayer line tripled compared to the previous days, with people registering as early as 1 p.m. After a powerful sermon, many were won to God’s kingdom. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for those on the prayer line, leading to many healings and deliverances from various afflictions.
In summary, over these three days, many people were healed from conditions such as hunched backs, cancer, rheumatism, lumbar spondylosis, multiple fibroids, arthritis, epilepsy, blindness, deafness, and various pains. Numerous attendees were delivered from bondages, attacks, oppressions, and unspecified problems. Those healed and delivered shared their testimonies, and many expressed a desire for another crusade soon in Romi. Attendees eagerly collected the church’s address and promised to join future services, particularly the Wednesday Faith Clinic and Sunday Service.

Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba conducted his usual Miracle Bonanza at the recently held Kakuri Crusade. He invited the first twenty people to run and cross the toll gate within a count of five for their healing. To everyone’s amazement, all who crossed the gate within the count were instantly healed. Among the healed were a man with 5 years of chest pain, a woman with long-standing waist pain, a woman with chronic stomach ache, a woman with leg pains for 5 years, and a woman who was blind in her right eye. All were instantly healed. Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba, who had earlier announced that his touch or a tap would heal many and set them free, demonstrated this as he tapped and touched each of them.
CRIPPLED AND DUMB YOUNG LADY HEALED
The miracle of a young lady named Maryam Surajudeen astonished the entire crusade ground. This uncommon raw miracle from God drew awe as she was brought in half-dead. Maryam could not stand, walk, sit, or talk for the past 9 years. Her mother, who brought her, shared that despite visiting many hospitals and trying all possible treatments, Maryam remained unhealed. Carried to the toilet, bathed, and fed like a baby, Maryam would crawl on her back to move. As the crusade was closing, her parents, with the help of four people, brought her to Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba. To the glory of God, as he prayed and tapped her repeatedly, declaring her healed, she stood up and began walking. The crusade ground erupted into celebration, with instrumentalists playing, choristers singing praises, and everyone, including Maryam, dancing and glorifying God for this extraordinary miracle. Many souls were won to Christ, and even skeptics witnessed the power of God.
LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS HEALED
Grace James, who suffered from lumbar spondylosis for 3 years, was healed. She struggled to walk and needed support due to severe pain. After Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for her and tapped her legs and waist, she was healed and began dancing and praising God.
DEAFNESS IN LEFT EAR HEALED
James Emmanuel, deaf in his left ear for 10 years, was healed after Rev. Dr. Ernest Odogba prayed for him. Upon testing his hearing by closing his right ear, James could hear for the first time in 10 years. Overjoyed, he praised and thanked God for his healing.
